Traditions tiptoeing through intimidating, silent galleries and viewing paintings from afar are forgotten as students interact with art in ways they never imagined.
Connection is an immersive experience about First Peoples’ art, music and performance. It provides valuable cross-curricular educational opportunities for all Australians to learn about the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of First Peoples, as expressed by First Peoples.
On a self-led excursion, students will learn about the traditions of acknowledgment and Welcome to Country, immerse themselves in the large-scale presentation of diverse digitised works, and experience original art in both a gallery setting and infinity room setting.
We have prepared a free collection of early-learning, primary and secondary cross-curricular education materials for the use of your class and community - see below for more.
