Getting here via public transport

If you’ve taken public transport to get here, or are walking from the CBD, you can either make your way to the South Wharf Promenade boardwalk and head West towards Seafarers Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, continue along the river and through the pedestrian walkway. THE LUME Melbourne entry will be visible right next to South Wharf DFO. You can also walk through the Convention Centre, turning right through Door 9 and follow the signs to find us.

Parking advice

The Wilsons South Wharf Retail car park at the DFO is the closest carpark when visiting THE LUME Melbourne and is accessible via Convention Centre Place, off Lorimer Drive. Please ask our staff for a discount voucher for this car park as you exit THE LUME.

Getting there

By Tram

Trams 12, 96 and 109 run every 6-12 minutes and stop outside MCEC on Clarendon Street (9 minute walk). Trams 70, 35 and 75 run along Flinders Street stopping on the north side of the Yarra River near the pedestrian bridge to MCEC.

By Train

Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street is approximately 15 minutes' walk from the THE LUME Melbourne, and services most of Melbourne's rail lines.

By Bike

Various bike parking facilities are available at MCEC. There are bike hoops located along Convention Centre Place outside Wilson Parking South Wharf and another on Orrs Walk, opposite Polly Woodside.

By Car

See below for $12 parking at South Wharf Retail carpark or the Melbourne Exhibition Centre carpark. Taxi and Ride Share drop off ranks are located outside our front entrance.
