THE LUME MELBOURNE’s permanent home is the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is nestled in the heart of Melbourne along the bustling South Wharf precinct (enter via DFO/South Wharf main entry).

THE LUME Melbourne is open seven days a week. Closing times may change with demand, please check times on the date you wish to attend.

GETTING HERE

Directions

THE LUME Melbourne is conveniently located at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Wharf on the banks of the Yarra River.

Driving

The main entrance is located at 5 Convention Centre Place, adjacent to DFO South Wharf  – enter via the doors near the Novotel. Taxi and Ride Share drop off ranks are located outside our front entrance.

Trams

Trams 12, 96 and 109 run every 6-12 minutes and stop outside MCEC on Clarendon Street (9-minute walk). Trams 70, 35 and 75 run along Flinders Street stopping on the north side of the Yarra River near the pedestrian bridge to MCEC.

Trains

Southern Cross Station on Spencer Street is just a short stroll from the venue, with trains running every 15-20 minutes. Visit the MCEC website to find your best route to THE LUME Melbourne.

Bike

Various bike parking facilities are available at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. There are bike hoops located along Convention Centre Place outside Wilson Parking South Wharf and another on Orrs Walk, opposite Polly Woodside.

The most convenient parking for THE LUME Melbourne is the South Wharf Retail Carpark or the Melbourne Exhibition Centre Car Park. See below to save up to $36 in parking when visiting THE LUME.
